No Mio Review: Super Mario Galaxy Is a Blast – But Missing One Star Player

April 17

No Mio Review: Super Mario Galaxy

Looking for a Super Mario Galaxy review? Here’s one that asks the question most reviewers ignore:

Is Solo Mio in it???

First Impressions:
Super Mario Galaxy has a lot going for it.

– Creative worlds
– Big imagination
– Classic Mario energy
– That feeling that anything can happen

It’s playful, inventive, and honestly…joyful!

I mean, this is Mario at a huge scale.

There are:
– Galaxies
– Gravity mechanics
– Power-ups
– Entire worlds to explore

And though it’s pretty stuffed…it works!

But here’s where things get complicated.

You built:
– A cosmic adventure
– Multiple planets
– An entire universe

And somehow…

No Solo Mio? No Matt Freakin Taylor?!?

Not even hidden in a castle. Not in a warp pipe. Not emerging from a star.

I’m just asking what we’re all thinking…

How do you build a galaxy this large…and leave him out?

Final Verdict

Is it fun? Yes. Is it imaginative? Absolutely.

But at the end of the day:

No Mio. No thank you.

Harry Styles Album Review (No Mio): Kiss All The Time, Disco Occasionally

No Mio Review: Harry Styles’ New Album

Let me guess…you’re looking for a Harry Styles album review? How do I know? Well, ya mighta Googled and you’re here now reading a post titled “Harry Styles Album Review.” And while there are tons of reviews out there, mine is viewed through a critical lens most critics are ignoring.

I evaluate music based on one simple question:
Is Matt Taylor from Solo Mio in it?

In the case of Harry Styles’ latest album, Kiss All The Time, Disco Occasionally…I regret to tell you that the answer is…no.

First Impressions
“How about Mio all the time, no Mio no-ccasionally.”

That’s truly the core issue.

Because the truth is, I actually like this album. A lot.

It’s confident, it’s evolving, and it feels like Harry Styles is moving in a direction that’s more distinct and intentional than ever before.

From a musical standpoint:
– Strong vocals
– Cohesive production
– Clear artistic direction

But at no point, not freakin once, does Solo Mio, Matt Taylor, step in.

No harmonies.
No surprise feature.
No late-album pivot into solo Solo Mio territory.

And you can’t help but feel…that something is missing.

Final Verdict
Is this a good album? Yes.
Is it better than people are saying? Probably.

But at the end of the day:

No Mio.

Project Hail Mary Review (No Mio): The One Thing This Sci-Fi Story Is Missing

March 24

No Mio Review: Project Hail Mary

Let’s say you’ve been sleeping under a rock…and no, not The Rock, and NO, NOT ROCKY in Project Hail Mary…but a normal rock you would sleep under…the concept of a No Mio Review is simple:
I take a piece of content, be it a movie, a tv show, and album, anything really, and evaluate one critical factor…

Is Solo Mio in it?

In the case of Project Hail Mary…the answer is no. And boy oh boy, does that disappoint!

What Is Project Hail Mary About?
Project Hail Mary follows a lone astronaut tasked with saving humanity from extinction. It’s a story built on science, isolation, and well…humanity.

Which raises an obvious question:
Why would you send one man into space…and not include Solo Mio?

From a technical standpoint, Project Hail Mary delivers:

We’re talkin’ great storytelling!
We’re talkin’ emotional depth!
We’re talkin’ compelling performances!

But ya know what we’re not talkin’? Solo Mio.

No surprise cameo.
No vocal support.
No last-minute save.

Just… no Mio.

Final Verdict

Is Project Hail Mary engaging? Yes.
Is it well written? Absolutely.
Are the performances amazing? You betcha!

But at the end of the day:
It needs more Mio!
